Ruby is a young emerging artist from the Mornington Peninsula. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT, where she is focussed on furthering her exploration of mesmerising textures, patterns and forms found in the natural environment. 

I began exploring my passion for gold and silversmithing at aged 16, initially inspired by the cyclical forms of the moon. My earring range has continued to incorporate these forms, paired with articulation and movement to create dynamic wearable art. The rings and all earring hooks are crafted from 100% sterling silver to ensure a harmonious connection with the body. 

I hope my designs can act as a reminder to pay attention to the small beauties in life and offer a form of self-expression, enhancing the wearer’s natural beauty and allowing them to carry a piece of nature’s elegance with them.
