My home, situated along the picturesque coastline of the Mornington Peninsula, Boon Wurrung Country, is the inspiration for my art. Using acrylic paints as my primary medium, I create paintings that capture the natural beauty of the area.
My pieces often depict the soft, swaying grasses and the interplay of light and shadow along dappled sunlit tracks. They reveal a glimpse of the ocean as seen through layers of foliage. The patterns created on the sand by the ebb and flow of the tides are a recurring theme in my work.
I am inspired by the transformative power of light, the changes wrought by the shifting seasons and by the tides. My artistic journey is driven by a desire to translate the sense of peace and tranquillity that these natural elements evoke in me.
